Question 1 of 4
1. Question
HOT DOGS. The hot dog, or pølse, is one of the most popular foods in Norway. On average, each Norwegian eats 116 pølser a year! One day in particular when pølser are popular is the 17th of May, Norway’s Constitution Day. On this day, Norwegian children know that they can eat as many pølser and as much ice cream as they would like. There are many different types of pølser in Norway, and they are eaten either with a bun (pølse med brød) or with a potato tortilla (pølse med lompe).
Read the article about pølser from the Cheapskate’s Guide to Oslo and answer the questions below.
https://cheapskates.guide/oslo/eat/polse-norwegian-hot-dog1. It’s hard to find pølser in kiosks and stores in Oslo.
