REALITY TV. Norwegians have long enjoyed reality tv. Several programs that have been quite popular in Norway are : “Robinsonekspedisjon (Survivor)” which began in Norway before the US, “Idol (Norwegian Idol),” and “Alt for Norge (The Great Norway Adventure).”

While you might be familiar with the first two, “Alt For Norge” is a program that began in 2010 and brings Norwegian-Americans to Norway to compete to win $50,000 and a family reunion with their relatives. The winner from season 2 is St. Olaf alum and student of  Norwegian language, Matti Rowe. UM YA YA!

Below are two clips from the program.
