GRADUATION. Russ (high school seniors) are Norwegian students in their final semester of high school. From mid-April to May 17, they take part in what is known as russefeiring (graduation celebrations). Russ wear overalls in a color that represents their studies, ride around in russebusser (buses) with their friends, celebrate wildly during this time.  They also do many crazy things during this period and for each thing they do, they get a something tied into their caps.  Watch this video clip of the tv show “Alt for Norge.”
