    VERBS. Complete the descriptions by filling in the past tense form of the verb. (Textbook, p. 38-9)

      1. Foreldrene mine gift i 1955 (bli). Faren min lærer (være), og mora mi i ei kirke (jobbe). De gjennom tanta og onkelen til faren min (møtes). Det faren min (være) som initiativet (ta), og han mora mi på middag (invitere). De sier at det kjærlighet ved første blikk (være).
      2. Romkameraten min opp med kjæresten sin i går (slå), og i dag er hun veldig lei seg. De sammen i over to år (være), og hun hun skulle gifte seg med ham (tro). Men det ikke som hun hadde tenkt (gå). De ofte (krangle), og de ofte sinte på hverandre (bli). Hun det ikke (like) og  seg for å gjøre det slutt (bestemme).
