    INDEFINITE PRONOUNS. The expressions for quantity can also occur without a noun and thus be used as indefinite pronouns. Study the examples on p. 53 in the textbook. Then do the exercises below.

      1. Det er som liker å bo i byen (many), men det er som trives best på landet (some).
      2. I byen er det å gjøre (much, a lot). kan si at det er kjedelig å bo der (no one).
      3. Når barn kjeder seg, sier de: “Mor, jeg har å gjøre!” (nothing)
      4. Det er som liker å kjøre når det er mye trafikk (few).
      5. I helgene er utestedene fulle fordi alle vil ha å spise eller drikke (something).
