Ex. 22.13: Online Job Test – Writing

ONLINE JOB TEST. After reviewing the vocabulary from ch. 22, complete this 35-question, online quiz called “Hva skal du bli når du blir stor.”  You should be able to understand the meaning of most of the questions by looking for familiar words and cognates. Submit to your instructor (Steps 4-6).

• Step 1: Navigate to the quiz online  by clicking on the link — Hva skal du bli når du blir stor?
• Step 2: To begin, click on the orange button that says “Start utdanningstesten.”  Answer the yes/ no questions as best as you are able.
• Step 3: When you have completed the quiz, you will need to register your email. Do not click on “abonner på vårt nyhets brev” (subscribe to newsletter) unless you want to be on their mailing list and receive emails from them. Your results will be sent to you via email.
• Step 4: Read through the results that were sent to you (it took about 30 minutes when we tested this).  At the top there will be a summary; this part might be a little difficult to understand but you should get the main points. At the bottom will be a list of five jobs and descriptions of those jobs. Print out your results and submit to your instructor.
• Step 5: Write a brief summary (3-5 sentences) of your results in English (top part). Submit to your instructor in a separate document.
• Step 6: Write 5-7 sentences about your reaction to 3 of the occupation that were recommended.  Here are some phrases sentences that might help you get started. Submit to your instructor in a separate document (together with steps 4-5).
