    WORLD’S LONGEST TUNNEL. There are many road tunnels in Norway, specifically tunnels that go through mountains or under fjords on the west coast of Norway.  There are over 1000 road tunnels in Norway and 30 underwater tunnels.

    Lærdalstunnelen, The Lærdal Tunnel, is a 24.5 km (15.23 mile) long road tunnel connecting Lærdal and Aurland in Western Norway. It is the longest road tunnel in the world.  It cost over 113 million USD to build.
