Question 1 of 1
1. Question
PUBLIC SUMMER VACATION. Fellesferie (public summer vacation) is a 3-week period in July when many Norwegians have summer vacation. Many businesses operate with minimal staff or close entirely during these three weeks, and many Norwegians spend time at their cabins, travel in Norway, or go abroad during this time. Because the winter is dark and cold in Norway, people especially enjoy the light and warmth of summer even though it is a relatively short season.
