Question 1 of 1
1. Question
NORWEGIAN KNITTING. Norwegians take pride in hand-knit wears such as sweaters and hats, mittens and slippers. Knitting is an important part of Norwegian culture. All children are taught the basics of knitting in school at a young age. It is also a popular hobby for adults, and you can frequently see people knitting on the bus, in meetings, and in other public settings.
Watch a video clip of Arne & Carlos, “designerduoen” from Valdres, who have shared their knitting traditions with the world. This is a longer video, so watch 5 minutes at the beginning, the middle, and the end.
