    REFLEXIVE POSSESSIVE “SIN.”  Fill in the correct possessives in the sentences below. Remember that the reflexive possessive “sin” can only be used when the subject is a third person pronoun (han, hun, de) or an equivalent name or names. (Textbook, p. 36-7)

      1. Jeg traff kona i 1995 (my). Hun gikk på skolen (my). Søstrene likte henne godt også (my).
      2. Hvor møttes du og kjæresten (your-singular)? Var det ikke på en chattelinje på Internett? Kom han ikke til huset et par uker seinere (your-singular)?
      3. Thomas har fått mange nye venner i USA. Vennene kommer fra mange forskjellige steder (his). Han er veldig glad i vennene (his).
      4. Mari kjøpte ei ny bok i går. Hun satt og leste boka i fire timer (her). Boka heter Isslottet (her).
      5. Vi skal reise til Norge i sommer. Reisa begynner i Oslo (our), og hotellet heter Grand Hotel (our).
      6. Skal dere besøke søstera i morgen (your-plural), eller skal dere bli hjemme og arbeide i hagen (your-plural).
      7. Monika og Kristoffer kjøpte et nytt hus i fjor. Huset ligger like ved stranda (their). De har jobbet lenge for å pusse opp huset (their).
